Day 1 - Exploring Whitehorse
Start your journey with a stroll along the Yukon River's Edge today, visiting the world renowned SS Klondike National Historic Site. Afterwards, have the afternoon at your leisure to explore Yukon's capital. Make your way to your overnight accommodation to end your first day.

Day 2 - Whitehorse to Dawson City

Today, cruise the Klondike Highway through the villages of Carmacks, Stewart and Pelly Crossing. As you travel north, you are sure to come across some spectacular scenery, so be sure to have your camera ready. Make sure to stop in some of the townships along the way to introduce yourself to the hospitality and culture of the Yukon.

Day 3 - Sightseeing in Dawson City
Tour the historic town of Dawson City and its rich goldfields, or take some time to travel north to the Dempster Highway for some incredible sightseeing. Your day is pretty much free to do whatever you want. While here, be sure to try to see some of the major attractions, including the Jack London Cabin, Danoja Zho Cultural Centre, Robert Service Cabin, Claim #6, Dredge #4 and the SS Keno National Historic Site.

Day 4 - Dawson City to Tok

Enjoy the impressive panoramic views offered by the well-named Top of the World Highway as you drive into Alaska today. Tok is a beautiful city nestled between Dawson City and Fairbanks, and is a popular stop for traveler's to the area.

Day 5 - Tok to Fairbanks
Travel northbound from Tok to Fairbanks today, located on the Chena River. While here, visit the University of Alaska (Fairbanks) Museum for an orientation to some of the rich culture and history that the state is so famous for.

Day 6 - Fairbanks to Denali National Park
This park is home to North America's tallest peak, Mt. McKinley, which stands a colossal 20,320 feet above sea level. All this and more is yours to explore today during you trip southward to Denali National Park.

Day 7 - Exploring Denali National Park

Today, introduce yourself to some of the locals with an exclusive wildlife tour. You'll have an excellent opportunity to see caribou, moose, grizzly bears, wolves and Dall sheep.

Day 8 - Denali National Park to Anchorage

Travel south toward the Gulf of Alaska to reach the stunning city of Anchorage. Alaska's largest city offers and amazing array of activities to choose from, and it's all yours to enjoy today.

Day 9 - Anchorage to Seward

There are so many activities to partake in while visiting Seward. You will have a chance to experience these after an unforgettable Marine-Life Cruise in Kenai Fjords National Park. Here, you will have a chance to view whales, sea lions and dolphins.

Day 10 - Seward to Valdez
Travel via Alaska Railroad and Ferry system via the stunning Columbia Glacier. Valdez is a beautiful city located just north of the Gulf of Alaska, and you'll have the entire evening to explore its shopping and cuisine.

Day 11 - Valdez to McCarthy
Today you'll travel from Valdez to McCarthy, located in America's largest National Park - Wrangell St. Elias National Park. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore.

Day 12 - Exploring McCarthy
Nestled in the shadows of 17,000 ft mountains, McCarthy is truly a sight to behold. It offers the perfect mixture of outdoor activities such as mountainbiking, hiking, flightseeing and glacier walking, but also gives you a chance for some well-deserved peace and relaxation.

Day 13 - McCarthy to Tok Area
Today, travel from McCarthy back to the Tok area for a final night in Alaska. It's not a far drive, but on the way you'll travel through some major highlights including the Copper Basin. Along the way there are also some great opportunities for hiking and fishing.

Day 14 - Tok Area to Kluane National Park

After some final sightseeing of the Tok area, you'll trek back into the Yukon, stopping in Kluane National Park for your final night. This National Park is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site, so be sure to have your camera ready for some truly memorable photos.

Day 15 - Kluane National Park to Whitehorse
End your "Classic Yukon and Alaska" getaway with a return trip to the Yukon’s capital, Whitehorse. If time permits, be sure to get in some last-minute shopping, sightseeing, dining and any optional excursions.
