Join your tour manager and fellow travelers for a private, after-hours tour, welcome reception and dinner at the amazing Royal Ontario Museum! Overnight The Fairmont Royal York. (D)

Day 2 – Toronto Sights
Today’s city sightseeing begins at the CN Tower, one of the tallest freestanding structures on Earth, with a self-guided tour before viewing other Toronto landmarks such as Harbourfront Centre, the University of Toronto, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Eaton Centre and Dundas Square with time to do a little exploring in the Distillery District, with its brick-lined streets and restored Victorian industrial buildings now housing galleries, boutiques and cafés. The rest of the day is free to discover Toronto as you please. Dine at your leisure at your hotel this evening. Overnight The Fairmont Royal York. (B, D)

Day 3 – Wet and Wild Niagara Falls
A visit to Niagara Falls isn’t complete without a ride on the Maid of the Mist to the foot of the falls, which thunder down almost 200 feet from the Niagara River above. The hooded raincoat you’ll put on when you climb aboard will help to keep you dry during your own up-close-and-personal encounter. Said by some to be the loveliest town in Ontario, discover Niagara-on-the-Lake after an ice wine tasting at a local winery. Overnight The Fairmont Royal York. (B)

Day 4 – Thousand Islands Cruising
The First Nations people of this area where Ontario and the United States meet called this the “Garden of the Great Spirit” and it won’t be hard to understand why as you cruise through the Thousand Islands today. Lush woods and sparkling water surround you as you glide past both humble and grand summer homes on the islands. Continue on to Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, for a two-night stay. Dine at your leisure at Wilfrid’s Restaurant at the hotel. Overnight Fairmont Château Laurier. (B, L, D)

Day 5 – Stately Ottawa
With its stately architecture, Ottawa looks every bit as a nation’s capital city should look. A guided tour takes in Canada’s Parliament and the House of Commons before a guided visit to the Museum of Civilization, showcasing Canada’s cultural heritage from the ancient past to the present day. The afternoon and evening are free to spend as you choose in this splendid city.
Overnight Fairmont Château Laurier. (B)

Day 6 – The Mounties and Montreal
With their scarlet tunics, distinctive Stetson hats and magnificent black horses, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police are as iconic a symbol of Canada as the maple leaf. Chat with a retired RCMP officer who will answer all your questions about the “Mounties.” After lunch in Vaudreuil, continue on to Montreal where a city tour by motor coach will introduce you to this French-speaking city that is both the second largest in Canada and the second-largest French-speaking city in the world after Paris. Overnight Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. (B, L, D)

Day 7 – Montreal with a Twist
An array of tastes and treats await you on a walking tour of Old Montreal, the city’s historic heart once surrounded by walls, stopping along the way to sample some of its distinctive local flavors. The day ends with dinner at a popular local restaurant to cap a day of epicurean pleasures. Overnight Hilton Montreal Bonaventure. (B, D)

Day 8 – Montmorency Falls / Quebec City
After all the maple leaves you’ve seen, you’ve probably guessed that all things maple are dear to Canadian hearts. Today enjoy an authentic taste of Canada – maple ice – in Trois Rivières in the heart of French Canada. Have lunch at Montmorency Falls…98 feet higher than the falls people see on a Niagara Falls vacation! Overnight Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. (B, L)

Day 9 – A Touch of Europe in Quebec City
A two-hour sightseeing tour of the hemisphere’s only walled city north of Mexico this morning may give you the feeling that you just might not be in Canada anymore. Ancient houses, monuments and churches clustered along cobbled streets seem right out of an 18th-century European city. The afternoon is free to explore as you please before joining us for our farewell cocktail reception and dinner. Overnight Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. (B, D)

Day 10 – Homeward Bound
Your Canadian capital cities and Niagara Falls vacation ends in Quebec City. A transfer is included from Fairmont Le Château Frontenac to Quebec City International Airport. Allow three hours for flight check-in. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home. (B)
