Day 1 - Arrival in Ottawa
Today you will arrive in Ottawa, Canada's capital city. This beautiful and historic city is home to the Parliament of Canada and is the host to many of the country's most prominent festivals including the Canadian Tulip Festival, Winterlude and many more. Spend the day exploring some of the local attractions or experience some of the city's famous cuisine at any of the countless dining options downtown. This evening, relax in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 2 - VIA Rail from Ottawa to Kingston
Hop aboard VIA Rail today, Canada's premier cross-country train service. Offering incredible service and unrivalled comfort, VIA Rail's Business Class will take you from Canada's capital, southwest to Kingston. Sitting on the shores of Lake Ontario, it is nicknamed the Limestone City because of its many historic buildings built from the local rock. Here, you will have the entire afternoon to sightsee and experience the splendour of the city. Your evening is also free, so be sure to down a hearty meal, and take a final chance to enjoy this quaint community in the heart of Canada's "1000 Islands" region.

Day 3 - Departing Kingston
The morning is at your leisure to take in some final sights and sounds of Kingston. If you're lucky, you'll be able to experience one of the cities local festivals such as the Limestone City Blues Festival, Fanfayr or the Kingston Jazz Festival. Your Canadian Connection Cruise will commence this afternoon with a Captains Welcome and Reception where you will be introduced to your friendly crew members. The cruise tonight is bound for 1000 Islands Anchorage just Northeast of the city. Relax in the comfort of your quarters or visit the onboard ammenities while the tranquil sound of soft piano music on the player piano accompanies you to your destination.

Day 4 - 1000 Islands Anchorage to Brockville
Make sure you have your camera and binoculars in hand, because today you're weighing anchor to wander leisurely through the famous and beautiful 1000 Islands. Visit its Heritage Center and embrace the magnificent views of the St. Lawrence from the 1000 Islands Skydeck before reboarding your cruiseship for the onward journey. Enroute to Brockville, pass by Singer Castle on Dark Island to see its 100-year-old splendour. This evening you will arrive in Brockville and take part in the nightly entertainment.

Day 5 - Brockville to Upper Canada Village
This morning after a hearty breakfast aboard the ship, a fleet of busses will be waiting to take you to yet another first-class attraction. Fulford Place Mansion were you'll quickly appreciate the opulence of the turn of the last century. After exploring this 35 room estate, depart for Prescott where you will once again disembark and take an unforgettable tour of Fort Wellington. Built during the early 1800's this fortification has since become known as a National Historic Site and is administered by Parks Canada. When your tour is complete, board the ship once again for your final route of the day, a journey along the St. Lawrence to Upper Canada Village. This incredible community is a living museum that recreates the life, work, and development of the early settlements along the upper St. Lawrence River valley. The evening is yours here to enjoy the onboard entertainment which is sure to be a terrific end to an already amazing day.

Day 6 - Upper Canada Village to Coteau Landing
An authentic horse-drawn wagon ride follows your breakfast this morning, taking you to Upper Canada Village for some final sightseeing. Upon completion of your relaxing ride, return to the ship which will now be bound for Coteau Landing in the Province of Québec. Along the way you will pass through the Snell and Eisenhower Locks located on the American side of the St. Lawrence Seaway. The evening you will arrive at Coteau Landing with some great nightly entertainment for you experience.

Day 7 - Coteau Landing to Montréal
Making your way out of Coteau Landing, you will be bound for Old Port of Montréal. Enroute through Lake St. Louis you will pass through Beauharnois Locks, so be sure to have your camera ready. As you approch your berth in Old Montréal, you'll pass by "Man and His World", the site of the World's Fair in 1967. You'll recognize Buckminster Fuller's geodesic dome as well as "The Big O" (Olympic Stadium). Originally constructed for the 1976 Olympics, this is the home to Montréal's many sporting and recreational activities. Nightly entertainment in Montréal will once again conclude your sight-filled day at sea.

Day 8 - Montréal to Trois Rivieres
A delicious breakfast and lunch are the perfect start to your day today, as you make your way along the St. Lawrence River toward Trois Rivieres. Upon arrival, you will board a motorcoach for a brief tour of this historic city. Afterwards, a guided tour of Notre-Dame-du-Cap shrine awaits as well as an outing to The Cape, the place of pilgrimage and devotion to "Our Lady of the Cape" (Canada's national shrine dedicated to the Virgin Mary). To complete your day, partake in live big band music and dancing onboard the ship.

Day 9 - Trois Rivieres to Québec City
As you get closer to Quebec City the bluffs along the shore become higher and higher culminating at the Plains of Abraham, site of the famous battle for Québec between the French and the British. Imagine having to climb those cliffs. That was the task that faced the British soldiers on September 13th, 1759. This scenic approach is only complimented with a beautiful view of Montmorency Falls. Closing ceremonies precede your disembarking from the ship. When all is complete, make your way to your chosen overnight accommodation in Québec City.

Day 10 - Exploring Québec City
Today you will experience the European charm of the first French settlement in North America. Highlights of your two hour tour include the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Ramparts, world famous Fairmont Chateau Frontenac, the National Assembly, the Basilica, City Hall, Place Royale, the Citadelle and a glimpse of modern Québec City. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore this beautiful and cultural city.

Day 11 - Departing Québec City
